Renovation of the Central Telegraph in Moscow will be carried out by the world famous British architect.
The British architectural bureau David Chipperfield Architects will develop an architectural concept for the renovation of the Central Telegraph in Moscow, the press service of the Vos'hod company developer says. "The architectural bureau was chosen as part of the competitive negotiations that were held with the participation of Strelka design bureau," the company explained. The building of the Central Telegraph was constructed in 1927 according to the project of Ivan Rerberg. It is expected that in the end the building will be adapted for modern use thanks to thoughtful design solutions, and a thorough restoration will help to maintain the original spirit of the architectural design.
