Unique Russian Coin Hits the Guinness Book of Records

The world’s tiniest coin, displayed in the St. Petersburg Museum "Russian Lefty" has made it into the Guinness Book of Records.

This was reported on the museum’s page on the VKontakte social network.

"Friends! It has happened! Our master - Vladimir Aniskin – has been included into the Guinness Book of Records by making the smallest coin in the world!" - the post reads.

The diameter of the little coin is 3 millimeters only. It was made by Vladimir Aniskin from Novosibirsk. The coin is a tiny replica of the old gold coin "The Sower".

Earlier, the smallest copy of the coin was included in the Russian Book of Records.
