Online Exhibition “In the Headquarters of Victory. 1941-1945”

A large-scale exhibition project tells about those who took the decisions that were crucial for the USSR during the Great Patriotic War.

      New Manege invites you to the virtual exhibition “In the Headquarters of Victory. 1941-1945”  telling about the government control during the Great Patriotic War.

      The first section covers the period from June 22 to December 31, 1941 and includes hundreds of historical materials that provide an idea of ​​the initial stage of the war.

      In the section dedicated to 1942, there are displayed official documents that influenced the nature of fights in the designated period, military and economic construction, and the strengthening of the anti-Hitler coalition.

      The third part illustrates the main events of the turning point of 1943. Here are photographs, newsreels, Soviet and German brochures, leaflets, posters. The final section recreates the atmosphere of the last two years of World War II.
