A walking tourist route from Arkhyz to Krasnaya Polyana, which operated during Soviet times, will be revived this summer in Karachay-Cherkessia.

"We started to work out the route: we are developing its trajectory, points of attraction, places for overnight stays and stops, and passage options. It's gonna be an eight-day trip designed for adults, both professional walkers and unprepared tourists, as well as children from seven years old," - the administration of the resort "Arkhyz" reports.

The participants of the tour route will be able to see many natural sights of the Caucasus, including Lake Kafar, Turye Lake, Zagedan Lakes, Mamkhurts Lakes, go through the Abishir-Akhub Ridge, Dinnik Peak, Stone Pillar, cross the Arkhyz, Damkhurts, Bolshaya Dzhana rivers and see beautiful waterfalls.
