The Hermitage, the Russian Museum and Tsarskoye Selo are temporarily closed.   The State Hermitage, the Russian Museum and the State Museum-Reserve Tsarskoye Selo are closed for visitors from Wednesday due to restrictions imposed by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation on the period of struggle with coronavirus.

      "Since March 18, all expositions of the Tsarskoye Selo Museum-Reserve have been closed for visitors. Parks - Catherine, Alexandrovsky and Babolovsky - operate normally and are free to visit," Tsarskoye Selo press service said on Tuesday. The press service of the Russian Museum announced the suspension of work until April 10 of all branches, including Mikhailovsky, Stroganovsky, Marble Palaces, Mikhailovsky Castle and the House of Peter I included in its complex.

      The territory of the Mikhailovsky and Summer Gardens remains open for visitors, however the Museum of the History and Archeology of the Summer Gardens in the Dovecote, the Tea House and the museum store are closed.

      The State Hermitage Museum also announced that it temporarily suspends the reception of visitors.
