In Moscow, more than 200 street murals will be painted to the facades of buildings.

An interdepartmental commission for painting on buildings in Moscow has approved 228 street murals: in the future they will appear on the facades of the capital buildings. The approved murals include the images of military commander Mitrofan Nedelin and actor Sergei BodrovJunior.

Street murals should comply with one of the approved topics: promotion of outstanding personalities, historical events, science, sports, art. Images themselves should be painted only during the warm season. According to the decree of the Moscow government, only approved street murals can appear on Moscow buildings. Now, a concerned person needs to obtain permission from the general meeting of owners of an apartment building, as well as coordinate the image with authorized agencies, including the Moscow City Architecture Committee, the Department of Cultural Heritage, the Department of Media and Advertising, as well asothers.
