The Estonians who want to visit their relatives in the Russian Federation will receive compensation for visa expenses.
As the Minister of Public Administration Jaak Aab told to the mass media, the compensation will be received by people who want to visit their relatives living in the border regions of Russia or their burial places.
“In order to visit relatives or burial places on the border territories of Russia, you need to get a visa for money”, the minister explained. “To ensure that such trips are not cancelled due to lack of funds, this year we also offer the opportunity to receive compensation for visa expenses. 61,290 euros has been allocated for this purpose this year, with a maximum compensationamount of 70 euros per applicant.
