Restrictive Measures on the Border with China are Extended until April 1

Restrictive measures in force on the border with China are extended until April 1. 2020. 

      Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation, head of the operational headquarters Tatyana Golikova said that restrictive measures at the borders with China, introduced earlier   in connection with coronavirus, would  be extended for one more month.

      
"The operation staff decided to extend until April 1 all restrictions that have been in force until March 1," Golikova said at a briefing in Moscow on Wednesday. She recalled that the measures concerned the restriction of entry from China through the land border and by air. 

      According to the latest data,  the number of people infected with coronavirus in China is close to 80 thousand, deaths were recorded in more than 2.7 thousand cases.
