The Number of Commercial Organizations  in Russia Decreased by 12.4%

The number of commercial organizations (LLCs and other enterprises) in Russia decreased by 12.4%, down to 3.08 million companies from January to December 2019, as Kommersant reports with the reference to the analysts of SKB Kontur.

      The number of individual entrepreneurs increased by 2%, making up 4.06 million. A small increase in the number of companies was observed only in Ingushetia (4%), Leningrad Oblast (3%) and Buryatia (from 14.2 thousand to 14.3 thousand).

      The number of companies in Oryol Oblast (13%), Moscow (12%) and St. Petersburg (12%) demonstrated the sharpest decrease. If we talk about the field of activities, the service industry for air and space transportation has become the ultimate record holder in decrease pace - the number of companies in this sector dropped by 51%.
