Russian airlines adhere to the precautions recommended by the Federal Air Transport Agency when flying through Iranian airspace, Russian airlines do not fly over Iraq, according to the Federal Air Transport Agency.

      Russian airlines continue flying through Iranian airspace with the precautions recommended by Rosaviation, including adjusting routes and flight schedules; crews of aircraft of Russian airlines do not notice negative features in the work of Iranian air traffic services. At the same time, Russian airlines do not enter the airspace of Iraq and do not plan to fly through it.

      The Federal Air Transport Agency will ask Iran to assess risk factors for the flight of civilian vessels over conflict zones. The Federal Air Transport Agency has prepared a request for a risk assessment of Iran to be sent to the Iranian aviation authorities.

      At the same time, the department focused the attention of airline management on the need to immediately inform the Federal Air Transport Agency about the slightest deviations arising in flights and non-standard situations that usually do not occur in peacetime.

      The adequacy of the measures taken at present to ensure flight safety in Iranian airspace was noted. The Federal Air Transport Agency continues to monitor the situation. If necessary, additional recommendations will be prepared for Russian operators on safety measures.
