World Snow Day will be celebrated on January 19 in the Rosa Khutor resort in the mountains of Sochi.
The traditional celebration of Snow Day at the Rosa Khutor resort will be held in the Mountain Olympic Village at 1,100 meters above sea level on January 19.
The resort will host mass-entertainment events for both children and adults. Guests of the resort will be able to take part in contests, winter games, master classes, as well as become winners of the Family slalom competitions.
Snow Day, aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles and winter sports, was established by the International Ski Federation (FIS) over 30 years ago. Today it is celebrated in many cities around the world.
