A bike lane along the entire length of the Curonian Spit National Park (41 km) will probably be built in a year and a half. 41 km of bike lane will be situated on the right side of the road, its width will make up three meters. In winter, it may be used as a skiing piste.

Curonian Spit really needs this lane: people could leave cars in Zelenogradsk and continue their way on bicycles.

Construction works are to begin in 2020 and will last for about a year and a half. The coating will be created on the basis of basalt sands and fiberglass. It will repeat the relief, so the visitors will have the impression that they are riding through the park. It is planned to make from 6 to 8 stops. The lane will be laid at a speed of 200 m per day.
