Do you want to make a trip to the distant past and take on the role of a Russian archer or gunner?

       Then the autumn festival of historical reconstruction in the historical Russian town of Suzdal is the right destination for you. Medieval architecture, costumed event and mock battles will let you to immerse yourself in the life of an old-time military squad.

      The festival will host workshops on embattling and handling various types of historical weapons. Participants will have a chance to master archery and cannonball, learn to sword and saber, as well as fight at close.

      An exhibition here will display models of military equipment, armor and clothing from the Russian Time of Troubles. All the exhibits can be tried on for a personal photo session. The festival day will complete with a tour around Suzdal.
