Biennale of Contemporary Art - 2006 kicks off today in St. Petersburg for the first time.
      
      For a whole month St. Petersburg will be hosting a range of expositions, actions and performances reflecting actual tendencies of contemporary art development. The events will take place in lots of galleries, museums, exhibition halls and plainly in the streets.
      
      The Art Biennale in St. Petersburg brings together masters and creative groups from Russia, Georgia, France, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Czechia, and the USA.
      
      The Biennale runs till September 22.
