New Moscow System of High-speed Transport

More than 500 stations will be included in the system of high-speed transport of Moscow.

      The city government is planning to create a unified transport system that will include the metro, Moscow central diameters, the Moscow central ring road and the radial directions of railways. The creation of a unified system will supply Moscow with about 1000 km of railway tracks and over 500 stations. In fact, this transport system will become one of the largest in the world. The programs of development of all types of railway transport in the city are currently being implemented: the metro is being built, new radial railways are being reconstructed and built, the Moscow Central Ring Road has already been commissioned, and the first two Moscow central diameters will be launched before the end of this year.
