Russian Bayan Festival is Coming to Slovenia

The best accordionists of Russia, Slovenia and Hungary will gather at the music festival "The Soul of Bayan"

       Throughout the year, the festival born in the Samara Region, takes place in various regions of Russia and will be held abroad for the first time.

      The accordion festival “The Soul of Bayan” was first held in the Samara Region in 2018. According to the organizers, the button accordion (“bayan”in Russian) appeared in Samara 120 years ago, and the region has every right to be considered the birthplace of the traditional Russian music instrument.

      In 2019, the festival venues have been opened in several regions of Russia, and accordionists from the Rostov Region, Krasnodar Territory, Moscow and other regions participate in it.
