International Kite Festival "Fortolot" in Kronstadt
30.05.2019 07:50
International Kite Festival

The 3rd International Kite Festival will be held in the Constantine Fort in Kronstadt near St. Petersburg on June 1 and 2, 2019.

The festival is traditionally bringing together participants from St. Petersburg and other Russian cities, as well as from Europe.

For two days, the sky above the fort will turn into a colorful canvas full of miniature kites and giant dragon snakes or cat snakes.

Last year, a 28-meter-large gecko became the highlight of the event. Let's see if there is going to be a worthy competitor to it this time.

In addition to the spectacle in the sky, the program includes entertainments and contests, music gigs and other activities.

Entry conditions remain the same as ever: either ticket-based or free, if you bring your own kite with.

Free buses will run to the Constantine Fort from Kronstadt. See details here

When: June 1–2, from 12 pm to 8 pm

Where: Constantine Fort in Kronstadt, Leningrad Region
