Tmall Marketplace owned by the Chinese Alibaba will start to sell medical goods and cosmetics in Russia, later it will also sell OTC drugs.
The first partners of Tmall in this direction were Optic-City and the distributor of Pharmaco-cosmetics: they will sell medical cosmetics and contact lenses, as well as corresponding solutions and accessories at the site.
Mollmart, the seller working at the site and uniting several suppliers and distributors will sell household medical goods, such as thermometers, blood glucose meters, etc. In the future, the site plans to sell OTC drugs in partnership with large pharmacy chains; however, the sales model is still being developed.
