To connect with the little-known customs of the indigenous minorities of Russia, come to the Sokolniki Park in early May, 2019.
Until now, many faraway settlements in Russia can only be reached by ship or helicopter. There are no shopping centers there, because the locals make everything on their own. At the same time, the indigenous peoples of the North, Siberia and the Far East are distinguished by their hospitality and special traditions.
Welcome for free to the 14th All-Russian Culture Festival of the Indigenous Minorities of the North, Siberia and the Far East "The Nomads of the North" in Moscow.
At a big gala concert with the sounds of tambourine, vargan and other national music instruments, the festival participants will present Ugra, Yamal, Yakutia, Tuva, Irkutsk, Kemerovo, Sakhalin and other regions of Russia. The visitors to the festival will have a chance to attend ethnic master classes and sport contests. Competitions for national cuisine and nomadic housing will be held around the skin tents and yarangas.
Admission to all the festival events is free.
