The Bolshoi Theater greets the People's Artist of the USSR Vladimir Atlantov on his 80^th anniversary.

      The outstanding opera singer worked at the greatest Russian theater from 1967 to 1988, having performed the leading parts in 18 operas on its stage.

      “Vladimir Atlantov has a unique voice and great artistic talent. I have never met another dramatic tenor of such beauty, expressiveness, power, and expression,” - composer George Sviridov says.

      In honor of the anniversary of Vladimir Atlantov, the Bolshoi Theater Museum is preparing an exhibition, which is going to kick off in March. In April, one of the performances of Verdi's opera La Traviata will be dedicated to Vladimir Atlantov.
