"And We Hear Them Singing" - Art Exhibition of Andrei Makarevich

The Multimedia Art Museum holds an exhibition of artworks by renowned Russian rock musician, songwriter, poet and producer Andrei Makarevich.


      
The project is dedicated to his 65th birthday and celebrates the artist side of the Russian rock legend.

      
According to Andrei Makarevich, he has been drawing since childhood, and actively participating in art exhibitions since 1989. 

      
At various times, his artworks were exhibited at the Tretyakov Gallery and the Russian Museum, as well as several museums in the United States and Western European countries.

      
The exhibition at the MMAM includes a collection of several dozen artworks made on wooden boards, as well as a series of book illustrations by Andrei Makarevich.

      
Where: the Multimedia Art Museum at the address 16, Ostozhenka Street, next to metro stations Culture Park and Kropotkinskaya, Moscow.

      
When: from December 12, 2018, to February 12, 2019.

      
Open hours: from 12 am till 9 pm every day except Monday, which is a day off.
