The III International Forum “Moscow region: leisure and tourism” to be held from the 2nd to the 5th of October in the international exhibition center “KrokusExpo” will present among others the project “Guberniya Ring of the Moscow region”.
       The tour is expected to connect such historic towns as Serpukhov, Mozhaisk, Volokolamsk, Klin, Dmitrov, Segiev Posad and Kolomna and to become the most visited and competitive travel route of the region.
      
       The first deputy of the chairman of the Moscow region tourism committee Vyacheslav Plakhov relates the further development of the project ‘Gubernia Ring of Moscow region” to the coming forum.
      
       “In 2001 around 90 exponents took part in the event, - says Mr. Plakhov, - last year there were 150 exponents and the number of guests exceeded 8 thousand people. This year there will be 300 exponents, and we expect the number of visitors to double at least’.
       The central event of the forum will become the conference “Tourism as a branch of economy of Moscow region”, in the framework of which there will be held a presentation of investment projects.
