The “DagSulak Paraglide” paragliding festival timed to the International Day of Tourism will be held in Kazbekovsky district of Dagestan from October 2 to October 12.

      An exciting program is being prepared for the participants: it will involve examination of new sites for paragliding in Dagestan, holding kite marathons across the Caspian Sea, archery competitions, and an educational excursion program featuring the sights of the region.

      The first two days of the festival will be devoted to technical flights and inspection of flying places in the area of the Sulak Canyon; during the following days professional paragliders will take a paraglide ride for everyone who wishes. Paragliders, kitesurfers and amateurs of active recreation will participate in the festival. Beginners and amateurs will be able to attend training courses at the festival. The event will be of interest for the fans of windsurfing and water tourism.
