Russia’s federal budget has to assign $40 million for opening the centre for developing anti-AIDS vaccine for Eastern Europe and Central Asia countries, says Russian chief medical officer.
About seven Russian science and research institutions, including centres in Moscow, Saint Petersburg and Novosibirsk, are currently working on said problem, but the base institution for the centre still hasn’t been announced.
Russia’s suggestion to established the centre for anti-AIDS vaccine development was approved by heads of the states, which participated in the recent G8 Summit.
