Scientists from Russian Institute of Ecology and Evolution Problems claim the deepest and the healthiest sleep comes to the passengers of the long-distance trains. Five hundred volunteers have reported about their sleep.
Trains turned out to be the best place for a good sleep, moreover, the longer the journey is, the deeper and healthier the sleep becomes.
Water journeys have the same effect, when the trip is long and slow. Enormous speed doesn’t do one’s health any good.
Sleep is essential not only for having a rest, but also for processing information one gets during the day. Sleep enhances your memory and reduces stress effects. Chronic bad sleep promotes various chronic diseases, including cardiac diseases.
