Non-refundable Tickets for Long-distance Trains will be Introduced

The State Duma has adopted the bill providing for the introduction of non-refundable tickets for long-distance trains in the third final reading on Tuesday.

The law proposes that individuals may buy tickets to long-distance trains at the tariffs that provide for the return of money for unused tickets, but there may also be tariffs that do not provide for such an option. The introduction of such non-refundable ticket format will reduce the cost of travel by railway.
