Film director Stanislav Govorukhin was awarded for the feature film “The End of the Beautiful Era”. Among the award winners there is also stage director Rudolf Furmanov (for founding the first Russian non-state repertory theater “St. Petersburg Theater" Russian Entreprise” named after Andrei Mironov), director of the Film Actor Theatre, Suren Shaumyan (for establishing the Academy of Cinematographic and Theatrical Art), acting rector of St. Petersburg Repin Institute of Painting, Semyon Mikhailovsky (for a series of exhibitions of contemporary Russian art in Russia and abroad), writer Alexei Varlamov (for the book "Shukshin"), and others.
