Andrey Zvyagintsev to Direct Thriller Series in Moscow for Paramount

The psychological thriller will be produced by Alexander Rodnyansky from Russia.

      Russian film director Andrey Zvyagintsev, world known for his Leviathan and The Loveless will direct Russian-language series for the television branch of the American company Paramount.

      The first season of the psychological thriller will have ten episodes, with two of them made by Andrey Zvyagintsev. The other episodes will be filmed by other directors, whose names remain secret so far.
The action will be set in Moscow and continue the plot of one of Zvyagintsev's films. The filming process will begin this year. The project for Paramount is a unique precedent that an international studio creates a product in Russian.
