20% of Icelanders want to come to Russia for FIFA World Cup.

The citizens of Iceland are interested in the World Cup 2018, which will be held in the summer in Russia. About 20% of Icelandic citizens applied to get tickets for the World Cup, which indicates a great interest in football.

      The national team of Iceland in 2018 debuts at the world championships. In the group stage the Icelandic team will play in the group D with Argentina, Croatia and Nigeria.

      The population of Iceland is more than 320 thousand people.
