The consortium of the Turkish companies Cengiz-Kolin-Kalyon (CKK) will not participate in the project of construction of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant (NPP) in Turkey. The consortium companies did not come to an agreement on the commercial aspects of the project, as the message says.
In May 2017 the Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that the total amount of Russian investment in the Akkuyu nuclear power plant construction project in Turkey would amount to $ 22 billion.
Last June “Rosatom” and a consortium of three Turkish companies (Cengiz, Kolin and Kalyon) signed a preliminary agreement on the transfer of 49 percent in the Akkuyu nuclear power plant to CKK.
