Up to One Million Fans can Visit the Games of the World Cup in Sochi

 The authorities of Sochi plan to receive 40-60 thousand fans during the days of the World Cup 2018, as the Deputy Head of Sochi Sergei Yurchenko said at the press conference dedicated to the opening of a regional tourism forum in Yekaterinburg.

      “The city of Sochi can receive 200 thousand people at a time. With regard to the high season in the city, the load we get is high enough, but at the same time there is a possibility of arrival of 45 thousand people directly to the stadium – these people will be namely the spectators” - S. Yurchenko said.

      He also noted that the city will have a fan zone which will be able to receive at least 10 thousand people at a time. According to him, up to one million fans can visit the games of the World Cup in Sochi.
