More than 3.5 million Russian tourists and about 640 thousand foreigners visited Primorye during 2017, the press service of the Krai administration reports.
As the Director of Primorsky Tourism Department Konstantin Shestakov noted, compared to 2016, the index of tourist flow rose by one third.
In his opinion, this position in the region's industry is facilitated by the work on promoting the region's potential at the Russian and international levels. K.Shestakov added that in 2017 the turnover of tourist services in the Primorsky Territory amounted to 19.4 billion rubles. In relation to the previous year, the growth was almost 17%.
