Renowned singer, the People's Artist of Russia, Ludmila Senchina, died in St. Petersburg on Thursday.
The star died at the age of 68, after a long disease. Her stage colleagues remember Ludmila Senchina as a talented singer, a sincere and radiant personality. Her death is an irreplaceable loss, they believe.
From the 1970 to 1975, the singer was one of the leading soloists of the Musical Comedy Theater. In the late 1970s and early 1980s, Ludmila Senchina repeatedly became the winner of the "Song of the Year" TV festival in the USSR.
Throughout her career, Ludmila Senchina released eight albums, as well as a separate collection of songs recorded in various years.
The farewell ceremony will be held on Sunday. Ludmila Senchina will be laid to rest at the Smolenskoye Cemetery.
