Legendary Actor Leonid Bronevoy Passed Away

Leonid Bronevoy, the People's Artiste of the USSR, aged 88, has died in Moscow today.

On December 11, the farewell ceremony will take place in the large hall of the Lencom Theatre, in which he played from 1988.

"The death of Leonid Bronevoy is a great loss for the theater”, - said Mark Varsver, the director of the Lenkom Theater.

"He was a man, who could be called an actor by God's grace. He taught us all the lessons of the highest acting skills. This is mostly about his role of Mueller in “Seventeen Moments of Spring”, of Dorn in our “Seagull”, of Duke in “That Very Munchausen”. He will be remembered for a very long time”, - the renowned stage and film director Mark Zakharov pointed out. According to him, Leonid Brpnevoy “had a great impact on Lencom and the whole of the Russian theater and cinema”.
