Within the framework of the Digital Economy program, a new hybrid satellite and cellular communication network will be created in Russia.

      The cost of the project is estimated at 200 billion rubles. In total, about 423 billion rubles are planned to spend on the direction “Information infrastructure”.

      Within the framework of the agreed plan, the experts of the RosCosmos state corporation should work on the concept together with the companies interested in the project.

      The launch is scheduled for January - March 2018.

      The supervisory board of Vnesheconombank is responsible for financing the project. This decision will be made after RosCosmos provides the investment project.
