On Sunday, passengers of the Aeroflot flight from Makhachkala to Moscow observed a ring rainbow.

      According to eyewitnesses, the rare optical phenomenon pleased the eye for quite a long time. In addition to that, the shadow of the aircraft appeared inside the ring rainbow after the plane started drifting down. The lower it was descending, the bigger its shadow was growing.

      According to Wikipedia, ring rainbow can be observed from a mountain or an airplane only.
