Seven Russian and Chinese companies held talks about cooperation at Sberbank’s venue. The companies specialise in the production and processing of fish and seafood, food and confectionery, logistics, and packaging. It was important for the potential partners to organise a meeting in Vladivostok in order to discuss further cooperation and development.
“Sberbank organised the talks together with Harbin Bank. This is the first step in the practical realisation of events of the Russian-Chinese Financial Council aimed at the development of trade between Russia and China. We hope that this cooperation will help us increase the amount of settlements in national currencies between our countries,” said Director of the Trade Finance and Correspondence Relations Division of Sberbank’s Dalnevostochny Bank Roman Balashov.
Participants of the meeting said it provided a strong incentive for them to continue the cooperation. The entrepreneurs said they would turn the established connections into actions.
