The Russian branch of the American McDonald’s fast food chain intends to completely switch to bacon and potatoes of Russian origin. This was told by the General Director of McDonald’s in Russia Alksei Semenov. “Bacon will be shipped in October, beginning from the next week we’ll receive the first deliveries of Russian bacon” - Semenov stated.

      The company intends to completely replace the import supplies of bacon in the first quarter of 2018. McDonald’s will pass to Russian potatoes during the year 2018, the “Marrussia” company is going to provide the supplies. Semenov also told to TASS about the intentions to expand the chain in 2018.
