The Bank of Russia will strike 10 million commemorative coins with a face value of 10 roubles with the coat of arms of Tambov Oblast within the “Russian Federation” series.

      “The combined coin will consist of two parts: a disk of white metal and an outer ring of yellow metal” - the regulator’s message said. The coat of arms of the region will be placed on the back side of the coin. The Central Bank notes that this is the 43rd coin within the “Russian Federation” series that has been minted since 2005. Just like other coins of the series, the “Tambov Ten” is a legal means of cash payment on the territory of Russia and must be taken as payment at all outlets without restrictions.
