The net profit of Sberbank in accordance with the Russian accounting system (RAS) amounted to 496 billion roubles for nine months, according to a press release of the credit institution.

      The similar indicator of 2016 was equal to 376.7 billion roubles. Thus, the growth reached 32 percent. The net interest income of the bank grew by 7.2 percent, as compared to January-September 2016, and amounted to 893 billion roubles. The growth was largely due to the transactions connected with bank cards and insurance - the rate of growth in these sectors amounted to 27.7 and 21.7 percent, respectively.
