Russian scientists are preparing the anthropoid robot Fyodor for the first flight on the Federation spacecraft.

      It is planned that the robot onboard will perform the functions of the pilot, while the ship will be controlled from the Earth.

      The experiment with Fyodor, developed by specialists of the Foundation for Advanced Studies, is scheduled for the third quarter of 2021. An unmanned ship will be taken to the orbit by the Russian Soyuz-5 rocket.

      The project organizers place great hopes on the further use of the robot in the field of space exploration, including at planetary stations and interplanetary complexes.
