The forecast for the outflow of capital from Russia in 2017 has been decreased from $ 19 billion to $ 17 billion, according to the Central Bank’s report on monetary and credit policy.
“At the same time with the reduction in the current account surplus, the net capital export from the private sector will also decrease from $ 17 billion in 2017 to $ 10 billion in 2018-2020” - the document notes. On September 11 the Central Bank reported that, according to the results of eight months of 2017, the outflow of capital from Russia reached $ 12.1 billion. The volume of export grew 1.7 times, as compared to January-August of last year.
