Rostec to Develop Digital Medicines for Oncology Treatment

The Rostec state corporation will start piloting and using digital medicines in two to three years. First of all, they will be designed to treat cancer, the company’s press release reads.

The corporation has invented a spray with aptamers for treating brain cancer. Using the spray applied to a damaged tissue, the surgeon will be able to see the tumor through special glasses and remove it down to the ground. Now Rostec is testing digital drugs based on nanoconstructions. They are able to destroy cancer cells under the influence of alternating magnetic field, no surgical intervention needed.
