The Central Park In Skolkovo Will be Completed In 2018

The central park in Skolkovo will be completely ready in 2018, the press service of the Moscow Architecture Investment Fund said on Tuesday.

They specified that work is currently underway on the project documentation. The development of the project corresponds to the previously adopted concept. The park will appear in the environment of the main architectural dominants of the cluster - the buildings "Kvadrat", "Skoltekh", and "Hypercube".

"The central park is divided into two parts: a lively business and quiet natural environment. In the business zone there will be a cozy wooden quay descending to a large pond, dance floors, pavilions for events. The tranquil zone is located closer to residential buildings," the message says.

As reported, by 2019 on the territory of the innovation center "Skolkovo" there will be a network of landscape parks. Each of the seven parks will have its own thematic focus. Parks will combine a walking route with a length of about 5 km. The promenade will start from the Alley of Festivals and Fairs, where on the territory of 6 hectares there will be shopping pavilions and cafes.
