The CJ CGV network of cinemas in South Korea became interested in the Russian market. The company chose one of the largest Russian film networks – “Karo”. CGV controls “due diligence” networks and claims to purchase a controlling stake therein. Several sources of the newspaper at once confirmed the information about the negotiations. In particular, the top manager of a competing cinema network knows that the representatives of “Karo” met with CGV back in June.
More than 30 people from the South Korean company flew to Moscow for negotiations last week.
