Merrill Lynch Increased the Target Value Of Rosnefts Global Depository Receipts (GDR)

“Merrill Lynch” investment bank increased the target value of Rosneft’s global depository receipts (GDR) by 10 percent: from 6.15 dollars per security to 6.75 dollars.

The analysts at Merrill Lynch name three main reasons for the growth of quotations: an increase in production at new fields with tax concessions, the gas business and the company’s new strategy with an emphasis on reducing costs and improving business processes.

The report notes that the value of greenfields lies in the fact that the company will start producing more than 800,000 barrels per day in the next few years.
