Russian airlines in July 2017 increased transportation in annual terms by 19%, to more than 12 million people, Rosaviation reports. Domestic transportation increased by 8.1%, to 6.98 million passengers. International traffic grew by 38.3%, to more than 5 million people: while passenger traffic between Russia and foreign countries outside the CIS jumped by 45%, to 4.44 million people, the transportation between the Russian Federation and the CIS countries - increased by 2.8%, up to 599,3 thousand people.

       Passenger turnover of companies for the reporting period increased by 19.6%, to 29.2 billion passenger-kilometers.  The percentage of passenger seats occupied made 90.7%, which is 0.7 percentage points more compared to the same period of 2016. The percentage of commercial load increased by 1.3 percentage points, to 74.9%.
