Theatrical and Circus Show Krakatuk after Hoffman's fairy-tale 'Nutcracker and the King of Mice' will be given every day at the territory of the museum-reserve Kolomenskoe (Moscow) from July 7 to September 30.
In October 2005 the production was awarded with the Grand Prix of the International Festival of Arts in France and was invited to take part in leading European festivals.
Splendid combination of state-of-the-art technologies, classical music, choreography, scenery, and costumes makes Krakatuk unique. The creators of the show call it their most incredible spectacle. It is decided to stage the fairy-tale in the circus because only this can allow showing so much magic. A circus marquee housing over a thousand spectators has been constructed in Kolomenskoe specially for the occasion.
200 costumes, 80 tons of stage scenery and 50 actors. The show promises to make one of the major entertainments of summer 2006 in Moscow.
