OAO VimpelCom has announced that it has received the final ruling on the back tax claim.
      
      According to the ruling, VimpelCom is liable to additionally pay taxes worth of 1,809 million roubles, or $67.4m, including 349 million roubles ($13m) of fines check-up.
      
      The tax authorities consider more than 55% of the amount as an improper deduction of bad and dubious debts by subscribers.
      
      VimpelCom owns the Beeline brand, which is regarded as Russia’s priciest. It launched a massive advertising campaign to catch up with MTS, another leading wireless operator.
