Following to the results of the five months of this year, the volume of the Russian market of new cars rose by 10.2 percent, as compared with the previous year. A total of 520 thousand cars have been sold. The largest regional markets are Moscow and Moscow Oblast — they accounted for 23.7 percent of the market.

      At the same time the market of the capital city dropped by 3.1 percent, to 80 thousand vehicles, during the five months. The car market of Moscow Oblast, on the contrary, has grown by 15.6 percent - up to 43 thousand vehicles. The top three is closed by Saint Petersburg: 36.5 thousand vehicles have been sold there (11 percent growth).
